Answer the Caul is an Afrosurrealist and Afrotransfuturist play taking place in the Black past, present, and future, all at the same time. Under Uncle Frank’s guidance, Relic time travels through a journey of reclamation of the gendered body and pre-colonial ancestral inheritances as he becomes the family’s next Griot.
